So those black spots are of the leather.
This bag was actually a monogram.
It was half peeling so I totally peeled it off.
Those are the remaining of the leather which goes away upon rubbing.
I have washed it and kept it.

If you can get them dry cleaned and glue the metals, it will be good to use.
Or if you can get them repaired.
