Virat (Akshay) is an officer in the Indian Army on his annual leave in Mumbai. Within a few days of his relaxing time back home; in which his marriage plans are made and cancelled and made again with Saiba (Sonakshi); he brushes across the tip of a terrorist plot while travelling in a bus. Being an inquisitive mastermind and an agent of the Defense Intelligence Agency, he grabs hold of the culprit behind the solitary blast in a bus, and extracts information by his own methods and means. Chipping together the clues and links he gets, he soils the plot of the sleeper cells organization of creating mayhem in the bustling city of Mumbai, and in the process, enrages and challenges the head of the organization to a battle of wits. What follows is a game of brains and brawns between the head and Virat. where lives are put at stake and lost, the city is put under threat and Virat, putting all he has at stake, has to take up the mantle to stop this mess once and for all and ensure a peaceful life for the citizens of our country.
