Srimad-Bhagavatam
Srimad-Bhagavatam is the transcendental science not only for knowing the ultimate source of everything but also for knowing our relation with Him and our duty towards perfection of the human society on the basis of this perfect knowledge. Srimad-Bhagavatam begins with the definition of the ultimate source. It is a bonafide commentary on the vedanta sutra by the author, Sri Vyasadeva which explains the highest state of God realization. Entire Srimad-Bhagavatam was recited to Maharaj Pariks*it in an assembly of learned saints on the banks of the Ganges at Hastinapur. Emperor Pariks*it soberly inquired from Sukhdev Goswami the way of perfection especially for one who is about to die. What activities one should do and not do to be explained. Later, the Srimad-Bhagavatam was repeated before a gathering of sages in the forest of Naimisharanya. The Srimad-Bhagavatam is the science of Krishna, and thus Lord Sri Krishna establishes the primary importance of Bhagavata Dharma.

Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu when visited Vrindavan 500yrs back who is none other than Lord Sri Krishna had talks with Muslims who were Pathans and learned Maulana that in their holy book Koran there are descriptions of Bhagavata-dharma and Lord Sri krishna. In order to change the demonic face of the society, Srimad Bhagavatam should be introduced also in the colleges and schools. Bhagavatam offers a penetrating view into the meaning of India’s spiritual heritage. The Srimad bhagavatam contains transcendental narrations of lord Sri Krishna and His devotees when He ascended 5000 yrs back, their loving exchanges and their intense attachment. The tale’s content presents the unalloyed devotion towards Lord Sri Krishna and His reciprocation towards devotees. Bhagavatam teaches us How Sri krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the only object of worship. He ascends to this material world to give pleasure to the loving exchanges of His devotees and to establish Sanatan Dharma and give protection to His devotees.
