The Indian 20-paisa coin is a former denomination of the Indian rupee, equaling 1⁄5 of a rupee. The 20-paisa coin has been minted in different years and in different metals:
1969: Round, 22 mm in diameter, 1.75 mm thick, and weighs 4.6 g. Made of 54–63% copper, 27–36% zinc, and 10% nickel. The obverse features the lotus, India's national flower, the year of minting, and the face value. The reverse features the national emblem of India and the country name in Hindi and English.
